Student Professional Conduct Policy:

Students attending SMEMS sponsored professional education courses are expected to behave like professionals at all times. This includes being on time for class, refraining from using smartphones, computers or other electronic devices unless the are required for a specific class exercise, limiting personal conversations to break time outside of class, and completing written quizzes or tests without collaboration, cheating or unethical behavior.

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in dismissal from the course for 1 day, or the remainder of the program. All decisions regarding dismissal are up to the course director and they are final. No OEMS credit or refund will be granted to a student who is dismissed from class. No SMEMS responsibility to find a replacement course by any given recertification deadline exists for any student who has been dismissed.

Registration for any SMEMS course via this website is an acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.
